Polar Star Mining is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all its employees. We employ a full-time Safety Officer who directs and oversees safety training at the commencement of employment. The officer conducts an induction program for each new employee, that exceeds government standards. Ongoing training continues throughout their career with the Company. The Safety Officer prepares a monthly report, which goes to the General Manager who in turn prepares a quarterly report for the Health and Safety Committee, which reports directly to the Board of Directors.
