Douglas Willock, BA MBA, President and CEO and Director
Douglas Willock spent 21 years as an investment banker with leading international and domestic banks. From May, 2001 onward he was active in restructuring and building junior resource companies. Since January 2007, Mr. Willock has devoted nearly all of his time and effort to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Polar Star which he formed as a private company in August 2003.
Mr. Willock holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in finance from the Richard Ivey School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and attended the Beijing Language Institute on a joint Government of Canada and China scholarship from 1976 to 1977.
Adam Rochacewich, B.Comm. CA, Chief Financial Officer
Adam Rochacewich is a Chartered Accountant with over 6 years experience in the area of financial accounting and reporting. Subsequent to obtaining his designation at Ernst & Young LLP, Mr. Rochacewich has held financial positions with Xstrata Plc, LionOre Mining International and Falconbridge Ltd.
Mr. Rochacewich holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queens University.
Martin Gallon, Chief Operating Officer
Martin Gallon is a corporate development and operational executive with over 40 years experience including grassroots and brownfield exploration, underground and surface mining, project feasibility, process plant design, business development and project financing. He has extensive background building and operating projects in developing countries. Mr. Gallon has worked on projects, on five continents, covering a range of commodities including: gold, copper, cobalt, nickel, lithium and coal.
Mr. Gallon obtained an Honours degree in geology from London University.
